Like in many other places in the world, NL residents have a system of numerous communication services available to them. In fact, Canada is one of the most connected countries in the world when it comes to the usage of modern communication services per capita. The telephone system in NL is largely digital, however, in rural and geographically isolated locations, there is still analog telecommunications. Cell phone signals reach most places in the Province.
