Many thanks to United Way Newfoundland and Labrador and their new Executive Director, Katie Greene, for presenting us with $10,000 for our school breakfast program!
The program, known as Fresh Start, aims to serve healthy, affordable breakfasts to ESL Training Centre learners and their children.

Left to right is the ANC’s Jim Murphy, Director of Language Services, United Way Executive Director Katie Green, and Nurse Barbara Albrechtsons.
United Way’s donation will help newcomer families reach their full potential, providing the nutrition, energy and focus they need for learning a new language and creating a brighter future.

While we’re all working through the uncertainty of COVID and practicing social distancing, the ANC’s Fresh Start team and United Way are motivated more than ever to make a difference.
By volunteering, you too can help newcomers reach their full potential in Newfoundland and Labrador. Learn more by visiting www.ancnl.ca/services/volunteer-connections.
