The ANC is delighted to share that Barbara Albrechtsons (a.k.a. Nurse Barb) is the recipient of a Building Healthy Communities Volunteer Award from the City of St. John’s!

We are so proud of Barb and deeply appreciative of her contributions.

From being instrumental in creating Fresh Start, a breakfast program that takes place at our language school serving ESL learners and their children, to her limitless volunteer work and key role as a public health Nurse, Barb is truly deserving of this award.
