Voting closes May 16

The Association for New Canadians is asking for your support on May 16, 2019. No, the province’s leading immigrant-serving agency isn’t on the provincial election ballot – but it IS in the running for a national award.

The RBC Top 25 Canadian Immigrant awards recognize outstanding contributions of individual Canadians who began their lives in other countries. One category is reserved for settlement agencies – the organizations that help newcomers with all the details of life in a new country: homes, jobs, language training, school integration, and more. All awards are determined through online voting by the public.

The ANC, now celebrating 40 years of welcoming people to Newfoundland and Labrador, is delighted to be nominated for the Settlement Agency Award, and is hoping for voting support from residents of the province.
