Canada Revenue Agency

Canada Revenue Agency is the Federal Department to which you must pay your income tax by April 30 each year. This means that you must report all the money you made during the previous year. It is important to file your income tax forms to be eligible for government programs such as Child Tax Benefits. You can get your tax forms at your local post office or on-line at www.cra-arc.gc.ca/cctb-gstc. In addition, the Association for New Canadians, and other community organizations, may be able to provide help and support on income tax preparation.
