/ Coordinating Committee on Newcomer Integration
This committee is the result of strong partnerships with key Federal, Provincial and Municipal partners as well as the Harris Centre at Memorial University. The role of the CCNI is to promote, educate and advise around the attraction and retention of newcomers to this province. In this regard, the committee continues to foster strong partnerships with other government departments/agencies and organizations in order to respond to emerging issues. Over the past ten years, the Coordinating Committee on Newcomer Integration has become an innovative model for capacity building initiatives and has established strong partnerships across various sectors. As a result of enhanced communication and partnerships, the CCNI has benefitted newcomers, the Province, and the region as whole.
The Association for New Canadians is a non-profit, community based organization dedicated to the provision of settlement and integration services for immigrants and refugees to Canada.
